The numbers are (nearly all) in and I can now share that Blue Sunday 2026 has raised a staggering £15,500!
We’ll never now the exact number (it’s not been the best year for communication from certain places…) and many people donated outside of the links I’d collated.
I am quite taken aback that once again people have rallied behind a perhaps silly and simple idea, and during such trying times financially. And when health is so precarious, and energy is so precious, it’s always humbling to see people taking part in whatever way they can.
Thank you all. So much.
I’m particularly grateful to those who spent their precious energy and function on commenting on other people’s posts. It was so lovely to see how caring everyone is, despite enduring an illness that could well have hardened our hearts.
Special mention to Isaac Greer for his third Blue Sunday Concert (whilst studying for his exams!), the Raffle for ME, the video call meet-ups, and those who hosted their own in-person Tea Parties for M.E. and all raised so much money.

I spent my own Blue Sunday largely offline this year, as there’s always a balance to be found on the day. My parents hosted our family’s Tea Party For M.E. and it was perhaps one of my favourite years yet.
Once again I was merely Guest Of Honour, being waited on and having my little team do all that needed doing. Since 2013, I haven’t made a single cup of tea or washed up a single teaspoon, yet my family allow me to take all the credit for a successful and lovely day!

We will of course be doing it all again next year, but for now I’ll allow you six months or so with zero/minimal Blue Sunday chat!
Thank you all again.
