Sunday 17th May.
The event runs all day, across all time zones. People dip in and out as and when they can.
I never set out for Blue Sunday to become what it has. All I wanted was to feel a part of something, rather than having to watch from the sidelines yet again. I didn’t want to have someone else do a fundraising event for me, or on my behalf. I wanted to find a way to be included.
I think the success and longevity of Blue Sunday shows how many other people feel exactly the same as I did.
Whether you’re hosting a little Tea Party For M.E. or not, you can use the hashtags #BlueSunday2026 #TeaPartyForME2026 or Facebook event to connect with others.
Donate the price of tea and cake to an M.E. cause of your choice, if you’re able to.
More of us than you realise will be spending the day by ourselves, but the virtual aspect of Blue Sunday means you can join in from your bed or sofa. You’ll be so welcome.
