All I want for Christmas is for you to isolate if you have c0vid symptoms, or if you’ve come into contact with anyone with c0vid symptoms.
All I want for Christmas is for you wear a mask when you are in a shop/pharmacy/medical establishment/waiting room/hairdressers or when you are on public transport.
All I want for Christmas is for you to wake up to the fact that the pandemic never ended. You just believed the governments you know to be inept that things were fine and dandy now.
All I want for Christmas is for you to give a damn about the fact there are people still in the lockdown that started in March 2020 because the didn’t suddenly stop being more clinically vulnerable to a Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
All I want for Christmas is for me to stop caring about the fact that you don’t care enough. I want to stop caring about the possibility that post viral illness could happen to any one of you. I want to stop dreading the day you contact me asking for advice because you’ve developed Long Covid that will likely lead to M.E. Because depending on who you are and what protections you put in place for yourself, I’m worried I won’t want to help you during what will frankly be the toughest and longest experience of your life.
